ADM Stocking 180 WATT DIN Rail Power Supply with UPS Function

ADM is stocking the MEAN WELL DRC-180 series DIN rail power supplies with UPS function.

Our first delivery is due to arrive in October 2022.

In addition to the primary output, these power supplies also have a charger output for battery backup applications.

Should the AC mains fail, the power supply will seamlessly maintain the regulated output with power drawn from the backup battery. Once the AC mains is restored, the power supply will resume charging the battery so it’s ready for the next time it may be needed. 

Following the success of the DRC-40 series and DRC-60 series, MEAN WELL has expanded the range to include models with a power output of around 180 WATTS: 

All the models listed above have built-in power factor correction and feature alarm relay outputs for Battery Low and AC Failure. 

To protect the battery, the DRC-180 power supplies will shut off the output when the battery is running low. At 9.5~10.5V for a 12V battery and at 19~21V for a 24V battery. 

Reverse polarity protection is also provided via an internal fuse. 

The output voltage can easily be adjusted anywhere up to 20% higher than the rated output voltage. 

The power supplies with UPS function are suitable for charging 12V batteries with a capacity of up to 40Ah or 24V batteries with a capacity of up to 20Ah. 

These power supplies are perfect for applications such as security systems, access control, and critical industrial DC applications, just to name a few. 

The MEAN WELL DRC-180 power supplies come with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.
