Advanced Functions

Using the Life Test function, the device can perform regular battery diagnostics, allowing users to optimise the charging process by selecting the most suitable charging curve for their specific battery. By doing so, the system maximises efficiency, extends battery lifespan, and enhances overall performance. ADELSystem DC UPS units offer specific battery charging profiles including Lead Acid, AGM, NiCD, NiMh, Li-Ion and LiFePO4.

These devices can detect various battery issues that may develop over time such as short circuits, polarity reversal, disconnected batteries, and battery sulfation. This diagnostic capability helps ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of the backup power system.
