AC/DC Styles

HDR Series

The MEAN WELL HDR is an economical ultra slim DIN rail power supply series with an excellent cost-performance ratio. Available in power ranges from 15 Watts to 150 Watts, the HDR-15/30/60/100/150 models adopt the full range AC input from 85VAC to 264VAC (277VAC operational). Mountable on DIN and OMEGA TS-35/7.5 and TS-35/15, the body is designed with compact dimensions, which allows space saving inside the cabinets.

The HDR Series is built with a step-shaped plastic housing to eliminate any risk of electric shock for the user. The entire series performs well across a wide operating temperature between -30°C to 70°C under air convection cooling method. These power supplies are also equipped with protections against overvoltage, short circuit, and overload.

Class II power supplies (without grounding) provide a reliable option for building automation and household control systems.

MDR Series

The MDR Series by MEAN WELL is characterised by its ultra-slim plastic case, making it an ideal option for applications with limited space.

Available in wattages from 10W to 96W, these power supplies are lightweight and versatile. The MDR Series supports a full-range AC input and features low no-load power consumption (<0.75W to 1W), making it an energy-efficient option. 

Each unit in the MDR Series features a built-in active Power Factor Correction (PFC) function, improving overall power quality. Certain models offer DC OK signal output or DC OK relay contact, which are useful for monitoring system performance. 

Designed for hazardous environments, the MDR Series complies with Class I, Div 2 Hazardous Locations T4 standards, making it a reliable choice for demanding environments.

NDR Series

The MEAN WELL NDR Series are a low-profile power supply, available in wattages ranging from 75W to 480W. Encased in a robust metal housing with a slim profile, the model widths range from 32mm and 85.5mm, making them suitable for space-constrained installations.  

The NDR Series supports a wide AC input range of 90 to 264V and is built to assemble easily on industrial rails TS-35 / 7.5 or 15. These power supplies have undergone 100% full load burn-test and feature protections against short circuits, overload, over-voltage, and over-temperature. 

EDR Series

The MEAN WELL EDR is an economical slim rail power supply series, offering a space-saving installation in industrial environments. More compact in design compared to the NDR series, the model widths vary from 32mm to 40mm.

With wattages from 75W to 150W, the series is designed with metal housing that enhances the unit’s power dissipation. The EDR Series offer a full range AC input and are can easily be mounted on DIN rail TS-35 / 7.5 or 15. With high efficiency up to 92.5%, these power supplies can operate at the ambient temperature between -20°C to 60°C under air convection.

SDR Series

The MEAN WELL SDR Series offers a high-efficiency solution in DIN rail power supplies, with power options ranging from 75W to 960W. These units feature a durable metal housing, making them ideal for installation in tight spaces.

Most models, (excluding SDR-75), come equipped with a built-in active Power Factor Correction (PFC) function, which helps improve power quality and system efficiency. The series is designed for easy installation on standard DIN rails (TS-35/7.5 or 15), ensuring compatibility with various setups.

WDR Series

The WDR Series by MEAN WELL is a high-performance line of DIN rail power supplies, offering power outputs from 60W to 480W. It supports both single-phase and two-phase inputs with a voltage range of 180 to 550VAC.

With efficiency rates up to 93%, and built-in active Power Factor Correction (PFC) for the 240W and 480W models, the WDR Series optimises energy use while minimising waste. Featuring a built-in DC OK relay contact, it allows for real-time output monitoring, enhancing reliability in demanding industrial settings. Housed in a slim metal case, the WDR Series allows for space-saving installation without compromising performance.

TDR Series

TDR power supplies are a new generation of industrial power supplies mounted on a DIN rai. It can support 340~550VAC 3-phase input (2-phase input operational), and offers power outputs from 240W to 960W. Characterised by high efficiency up to 94.5%, the series is built in a metal housing with PFC and constant current function.

With a fanless design cooled by free air convection, it can operate at the ambient temperature between -30°C to 70°C. Suitable applications include industrial control systems, semiconductor fabrication equipment, factory automation, and industrial electrical equipment.
