DIN RAIL UPS & REDUNDANCY MODULES
DIN rail UPS systems offered by MEAN WELL deliver backup power to critical equipment during main power outages. These space-efficient units are designed for straightforward installation on standard DIN rails, making them suitable for use in industrial control panels.
The MEAN WELL DRS series is a compact DIN rail digital security power supply that integrates DC output, battery charging, uninterruptible power supply (DC-UPS), and Modbus digital communication. It supports a universal input range of 90-305VAC, making it versatile for global applications.
MEAN WELL DRC series features a universal input of 90-264VAC with built-in Power Factor Correction (PFC), a fanless design for quiet operation, and a wide temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. For many years, the MEAN WELL DRC series has been widely used in safety control, fire protection, information communication, and automatic control.
To enhance system reliability, MEAN WELL offers DRDN redundancy modules that support both N+1 and 1+1 configurations. These modules include two DC input channels and one output channel, along with a DC OK signal alarm relay for remote monitoring.
The MEAN WELL DBUF buffer module is an affordable option for short-term UPS requirements, eliminating the need for batteries. By using capacitors in place of batteries, this module is compact, budget-friendly, and requires no maintenance, all while delivering a quicker response time than conventional UPS systems.
