Waterproof Connectors Stocked by ADM
ADM stocks a wide range of weatherproof connectors.
Although these connectors are commonly referred to as waterproof connectors, we prefer to use the term weatherproof.
The term waterproof has the potential to be misleading because these connectors could not be submerged in very deep water and be expected to resist the ingress of water indefinitely.
However, they can be used in applications such as outdoor lighting and industrial applications where they may be splashed with water.
Our weatherproof connectors carry an ingress protection rating of either IP67 or IP68.
The IP rating number indicates what level of ingress the connector has been tested to.
The IP rating number consists of 2 digits. The first is the solids (dust) ingress rating, the second is the liquid (water) ingress protection rating.
The chart below shows the definitions of each of the numbers used to make up the IP rating.

These are ideal for ensuring a weather resistant termination at the end of a cable you want to terminate.
Most products are available from stock in 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way options. There are two termination methods; easy screw terminations, or fast connect.
